ATT Israel Journey to Built-In-Quality

Agile Israel 2018 Conference, Tuesday, June 19, 2018, 12:15

In early 2017 AT&T Israel, a software R&D branch of AT&T with hundreds of R&D staff, started a journey to increase its speed from concept to delivery. A key element of this initiative is taking a different approach to quality, shifting quality thinking and activities earlier in the process, also known as “shift-left”.

Moving the ownership of quality to development teams, and drastically reducing the amount of manual testing represented a huge change in culture and skill set for most R&D members.

18 months into this journey, come hear about the challenges and outcomes, and our top tips for such a transformation.
